Remede-Me, inc. is a federally
recognized 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization. This
non-profit was established in 2003 by the President of the organization,
Charles Vanoy, as a result of a trip to Africa. While
there, Charles Vanoy was approached by several needy children
pleading for shoes, clothing, and food. Mr. Vanoy bought
food for these children, and promised them that he would help
them with shoes and clothing after he returned to the United
States.
The
promise was kept, and today we are happy to report that several
forty foot ocean-going containers of shoes, clothing, and school
supplies have been sent to Africa for these children and their
families.
While
our non-profit organization was originally started to help needy
children in Africa, we soon realized that there were many needy
families right here in the United States.
Today we are pleased to let you know that Remede-Me, Inc. is
busy helping needy families within our own country. For
these deprived families, we provide food, shoes, clothing, school
supplies and many other services.
Remede-Me, Inc. was recently
selected as the winner of the prestigious "Caring
Hands" and "Community
Excellence" awards because of the community support
work that we do at the local, regional, and international levels.
Siemens, a global leader in electronics
and other services selected Remede-Me, Inc. from a large number
of non-profit organizations world wide.
